Nissan IMq, the new electric concept making its debut at the Geneva Motor Show
At the Geneva Motor Show we will see the new Nissan IMq, an electric crossover that previews the design of the future crossovers from the Japanese brand

The Geneva Motor Show continues to deliver the best surprises, and some of them promise to hit the roads around the world soon. The new electric concept of Nissan is called Nissan IMq and it seems it will set the future direction of crossover design for the brand. What we see in this concept model is a car equipped with the e-Power electric propulsion system.
The electric motor fitted to this prototype produces a power output of 250 kW, which equates to 340 CV, and an impressive maximum torque of 700 Nm. The multi-motor all-wheel drive enhances the car’s stability and control, even on snowy surfaces, since each wheel has independent control and improves the car’s handling.

New drive system and more technology
This drive system, together with the e-Power system, will help the driver in the most demanding moments of driving, and to do so it will also rely on the new generation of ProPILOT, which offers new driver assistance systems to improve safety.
In terms of styling, the Nissan IMq plays with the formal look of Nissan, with the V-shaped grille displaying the Japanese brand’s logo. The concept has a length of 4,458 mm and a width of 1,940 mm, while the height is 1,560 mm. These dimensions allow a size suited both to the city and to off-road routes. The tyres, moreover, give the driver a great deal of information, letting them know the pressure, wear and other tyre-related elements, and with this information the system adapts to achieve the best possible performance.

The concept’s interior also offers technology in line with what is expected of it. A large screen frames all the information from the instrument panel, while a second screen controls the infotainment system. It also features the Invisible to Visible system, which helps occupants see in real time all the information the vehicle picks up with its sensors.
With this model, Nissan previews the style and capability of the brand’s new crossovers and SUVs, both aesthetically and technologically, so we should keep an eye on this model to know what will soon reach our roads.
