Nissan has decided to go all out with the Juke, one of its riskiest bets in recent times.

To add even more excitement, the small Juke comes with a version prepared by the Nismo department, which gives it a character and performance on par with other well-known models. That is why Nissan has just launched a special edition called Juke NISMO RS “30th Anniversary NISMO”.

The launch of this very special version coincides with the arrival at dealerships of the new Juke Nismo RS, successor to the previous Juke Nismo. The Juke Nismo RS delivers extra power and a better driving experience thanks to the increased output of the 1.6 DIG-T engine, which now produces 218 CV and 280 NM. Besides the power increase, the Nismo RS also modifies other parameters such as the suspension, steering and braking system.

The Juke Nismo RS can be purchased with two possible transmissions: a 4×2 paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and a 4×4 paired with a CVT gearbox with 8 preset ratios. In the front-wheel-drive option, the team at Nissan has opted to fit a limited-slip differential, which limits the loss of traction (one of the drawbacks of earlier versions) and improves cornering.

The “30th Anniversary NISMO” edition adds a significant amount of equipment, with interesting elements such as Recaro bucket seats, xenon headlights and the intelligent protection shield developed by Nissan. The launch price of this special version is €23,700, which makes it one of the most interesting products in terms of price-performance-equipment, since its performance figures are close to being called “sporty”, with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 7.8 seconds and a top speed of 215 km/h.
