Nissan March/Micra Nismo Concept

Nissan has unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon the customized version of the Micra/March, featuring part of the S-Tune catalogue.

Nissan has already made considerable efforts to keep the Micra (March in other markets) as one of its best-selling models in the world, and it has succeeded. Thus, Nismo has had the perfect opportunity to get its hands on one of the Japanese brand’s smallest cars, showing the first example of the Micra bearing the stamp of its high-performance division.

But as for high performance, there is none. It may be from Nismo, but the Micra is not yet the right car to give the impression that it runs faster than others of its size; the changes made to this Micra are purely cosmetic, limited to a lower suspension, a red outline on the lower part (very much in the style of the GT-R) and a pair of sport seats at the front, plus wheels that are somewhat more eye-catching, combined with the body colour and the decorative line running along the vehicle. A full review of the March’s S-Tune catalogue in Japan.

The Japanese brand has not yet announced a marketing plan for these models or their launch markets, or whether it will remain just a concept (which does not seem to be the case).
