Pick-ups are a segment that is becoming increasingly present in the international market. Many brands offer vehicles of this kind, and in Europe one of the most popular is the Nissan Navara. The Japanese brand’s off-roader enjoys interesting sales throughout the European territory, so it is no surprise that an update of this model is about to be launched in its N-Guard version.

This version will sit at the very top of the range and will come with all the trim levels a vehicle of this kind needs so that the driver can be satisfied with the driving experience. To begin with, electric blue has been added to the three current colours, white, grey and black, to give the pick-up a more attractive image.

The Nissan Navara N-Guard Double Cab will also feature a lined load bed floor that provides greater safety during transport. The suspension has also been prepared to work more efficiently, and it benefits from a much more efficient braking system thanks to the brake upgrade incorporated into the new Nissan models.

Thanks to all these updates, the Nissan Navara N-Guard is capable of towing 3,500 kg and carrying 1,100 kg in the rear load area. As for the engine powering this version of the Japanese pick-up, it is a 2.3-litre four-cylinder diesel engine producing 190 CV and a maximum torque of 450 Nm.

Engine power is transmitted through a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed automatic gearbox. Both options include four-wheel drive, so it is perfectly capable of performing very efficiently in any situation.

In addition, like any top-of-the-range model, the Nissan Navara N-Guard comes with very comprehensive equipment. This includes intelligent emergency braking, a around-view monitor and hill start assist. Inside, it has an 8-inch screen to control the infotainment system, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which can be updated remotely.

To give it a more exclusive touch, it will feature leather upholstery with blue contrast stitching and ambient lighting to create a sense of comfort in the cabin. The Nissan Navara N-Guard will begin production this month, and orders will be available across Europe from March.
