Nissan presents the first image of the prototype it will unveil at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show

We are slowly getting a look at the most spectacular cars of the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, those that are not exactly production models and are there to surprise us. The concept models from the various brands are ready to be unveiled at the Japanese event. Among them is this mysterious car that Nissan has presented, and very little is known about it.

The slogan they have used for the presentation of this car is “The vision of the intelligent and electric car of the future“. There is no data or details about it, and we can only suspect that it will be an electrically powered vehicle with a fairly significant level of connectivity.

What we can see in the image distributed today is one that reminds us of the design language Nissan uses for its production cars and its latest concepts. The shape of the grille and the headlights has the look that identifies it as a car from the brand. The Nissan logo sits in the central part of the grille, illuminated by a blue tone.

The silhouette of the prototype is framed with the same blue light, which I suppose is meant to point to electric propulsion of the car. We get this hint because blue is usually the colour used on cars of this type. For example, the Nissan LEAF, which is fully electric, also incorporates elements in this colour.

And that is where our speculation about this model ends, as we don’t even know its name. We hope that as the show gets closer, and before it is officially presented, we will learn a bit more so we can bring you all the information about this concept car.
