Nissan presents the new Pathfinder on Facebook
Nissan has given the first hints of the new Pathfinder through its Facebook page. The new generation will show clear influences from the brand’s crossovers.

Nissan has chosen the social network to unveil a new look for the new Pathfinder, this SUV that has become a true calling card for the Japanese brand. The new Pathfinder is just as expected, a too-close cousin of the Nissan Titan or the Murano.
While it has been updated in terms of more modern shapes and designs, it shares its platform with Infiniti’s crossovers, which is why it has become even larger in size. As a result, it will have ample capacity to carry up to seven passengers comfortably and a sizeable cargo area with the seats folded down.
When it comes to personal tastes, I don’t know how many European Pathfinder customers will be drawn to this redesign, but it is clear that if the model currently sold, for example in Spain, still has something to do with the Pathfinder philosophy and the idea of a mid-size SUV that is manageable in all kinds of situations and off-road terrain, the new model, as shown, will have even less to do with it.
As can be seen, the new Pathfinder is practically identical to the concept that has been on display since the Detroit show. The sketch shown belongs to the American model, but we don’t believe Nissan will make any distinction with the European one, except for variations in the engines.
