Nissan will offer several camper vans at the Tokyo Motor Show
The Japanese brand has created several concept vans that will showcase the solutions proposed by Nissan for this type of vehicle, which is on the rise all over the world.

Next month the Tokyo Motor Show takes place, and it is there that the major Japanese brands will present their main new releases for the coming year. Nissan has prepared a good variety of vehicles, although in this article we are going to focus on the camper vans that have caught our attention the most.
The first of them is the Nissan Caravan Mountain Base concept, a vehicle designed for leisure time that sports a rather unusual design. Apparently, Nissan’s intention is not to show an interior fitted out for camping, but rather a powerful exterior and other features. Its external appearance is robust and strong, so we are looking at a vehicle that can reach almost any destination.

The front features the V-Motion grille, adapted to the conditions of the van. It has a more aggressive look and is flanked by the light units. At the top, a strip of LED lights has been installed, which helps create an attractive image for open terrain and provides better visibility.

NISSAN CONCEPT CAMPER
The sides are covered with wooden panels, which offer a very curious contrast against the black bodywork. The rear is accessed through the tailgate, and this display model has no functional camping equipment; it has been fitted with a wooden bench, in front of which a table has been installed. As a curious detail, there is a screen that shows a virtual fireplace.
What matters most in this case are the solar panels that power the vehicle. There is a large panel that unfolds on the roof and other smaller ones on the rear windows that capture as much solar energy as possible to maximise its use.
Caravan MyRoom
This other camper van is indeed designed to show what a family getaway can look like. The concept images show a rear space converted into a comfortable bedroom. It is not very practical as a camping spot either, but it demonstrates the design and space possibilities of the vehicle.

These camper concepts are based on a Nissan Note and come in two versions. The first has raised suspension, which allows it to tackle more difficult terrain. The other offers lower suspension and a more premium interior finish. With these concepts, Nissan aims to offer solutions to the ever-growing camper van segment, with functional and attractive vehicles.
