Now on sale: the Range Rover Autobiography Black Limited Edition

For 40 years, the Range Rover has meant something more than a British brand in the world of off-roaders. Range Rover was the first to show owners of these vehicles that they could also enjoy some luxuries they were not used to. Time has passed, and now Range Rover presents its latest edition, the Autobiography Black Limited Edition, to celebrate its 40 years of life.
Let us start by saying that the engine is the same 5.0 V8 as the slightly more “humble” models, and that the only changes have been the finish details and some accessories added to the model. Painted entirely in black, the front features a grille different from other models, with a black border, plus the chrome metal bar along the lower part of the front bumper.

Inside, there is a very pleasant contrast between the black and the light tones on the seats and dashboard. As is almost standard for this type of commemorative model, the interior has Autobiography Black logos placed in different locations.
Continuing with the comforts offered by the Black Limited Edition, it comes with a Harman/Kardon sound system of 1,200 watts and 19 speakers. The equipment is a real luxury, and among these, Range Rover offers adaptive lighting and heated and cooled seats, both front and rear.
The Black Limited Edition also offers two safety systems that are key for an off-road vehicle (even though this one may not look like one). One of them is the Hill Start Assist, which helps prevent the vehicle from rolling backwards when climbing an overly steep slope. The other is the Gradient Acceleration Control, which controls the brakes when descending the same slopes.
It is well known that a Range Rover is more of a whim than anything else. But you truly take home a luxury 4×4, even though you have to pay more than 100,000 euros.
