BMW Serie 4 Sedans Range / versions
Official: BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe

At BMW they couldn’t wait any longer and have officially launched a new version within the 4 Series. After the coupé and the convertible, it’s the turn of the Gran Coupé.
Under this name comes a very special saloon which, following in the footsteps of the 6 Series Gran Coupe, brings a generous dose of design combined with a good dynamic touch.
The 4 Series Gran Coupé arrives on the market sharing its length, width and wheelbase with the traditional coupé model. However, this new creation has, as its unique features, a roof 11 cm longer with a less pronounced slope, which allows it to improve its interior space figures.

Otherwise, those users who like coupé bodies but need the practicality of a saloon will find in the 4 Series Gran Coupé a good alternative to other models such as the Audi A5 Sportback. With the arrival of this variant, BMW definitively completes a very extensive range of compact saloons, in which you can choose between the traditional 3 Series, the Touring or Gran Turismo variants and this 4 Series Gran Coupé.
The interior shares practically everything with the 4 Series Coupé, offering a pleasant cabin to the eye with quality materials. In addition, in this new body style it offers 430 litres of boot space (35 more than the coupé version), which can rise to 1,300 if the rear seats are folded down.

The technical base is shared with the 3 Series and 4 Series Coupé. In this way, the Gran Coupé will be offered with three petrol models: 420i, 428i and 435i. In diesel the range consists of the 418d and 420d, although more diesel engines are likely to arrive in the future.
