OMODA chooses Netflix star Jaime Lorente as the brand's ambassador

In a collaboration full of emotion that will give the brand a real boost, OMODA Spain presents Jaime Lorente, the acclaimed Spanish actor and singer, as its new brand ambassador. This alliance highlights the fusion between the artist’s charisma and the innovation embodied by the OMODA 5, a vehicle that redefines the standards of design, style and cutting-edge thinking in the automotive world.

The actor who rose to fame and became a star of the acclaimed Netflix series ‘Money Heist‘ has decided to join the OMODA movement, joining forces with this brand to promote both its values and the performance it offers. The launch of this model will take place tomorrow, the 22nd, at the iconic Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid.

The new OMODA 5 is presented as a work of “art in motion“, inspired by the latest trends to adapt incomparably to the tastes of modern drivers. The launch will be attended by prominent authorities and 300 guests who won’t want to miss this unique event. Among them, the new OMODA ambassador, Jaime Lorente, who will be the focus of all conversations.

Crossover design for everyday life

The OMODA 5, the vehicle driven by the lead of the upcoming Netflix series ‘Iron Hand‘, stands out for its elegant deep black colour. This versatile crossover adapts to every setting, maintaining the distinctive and sophisticated character the actor wanted for his everyday life. Its lines are inspired by haute couture, with soft, flowing shapes, play of light and shadow, colour contrasts and meticulously sculpted details.

The front of the vehicle is adorned with a three-dimensional grille of hexagons and diamond-shaped details that make this model stand apart from the conventional. The silhouette of the OMODA 5 flows aerodynamically, offering an elegant and dynamic appearance at the same time.

A launch with petrol

Unlike other brands, the OMODA 5, powered by a front-mounted transverse four-cylinder inline, turbocharged 1.6-litre combustion engine, produces 185 CV and 290 Nm of torque at 2,000-4,000 rpm. It is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, allowing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds.

Inside, the OMODA 5 offers a comfortable cabin for five adults with a 360-litre boot capacity. The interior design combines beauty with technology, with bucket-style seats and a central LCD screen of almost 26 inches (split into two 10.25″ displays), compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which lets you manage a range of functions, from entertainment to opening the sunroof, mainly using voice control to improve safety and comfort while driving.
