Opel Astra Sedan

Opel shows us the first images of the Sedan, which completes the Astra range. As a result, this model is now available with four different body styles: a four-door saloon, the five-door hatchback, the Sports Tourer estate and the GTC sports coupe.

This new Astra grows to a length of 4,548 mm, with a width and height of 1,814 and 1,476 mm respectively, while its wheelbase remains unchanged compared with the five-door and stays at 2,685 mm.

These dimensions allow the new Astra Sedan to offer a boot capacity of 460 litres, an increase of 90 litres. As for standard equipment, in our country it will include LED daytime running lights, 6 airbags, active head restraints on the front seats and a 7-speaker sound system.

In terms of optional equipment, the highlights are adaptive lighting (AFL+) with bi-xenon headlights and cornering lights; the FlexRide adaptive chassis system is also available, as is the option to choose between three driving modes. It features ergonomic seats for the front seats and the Navi 900 navigation system with maps covering more than 30 European countries.

In the engines section, it will initially offer two petrol engines: the 1.6 with 115 CV and the 1.4 Turbo producing 140 CV. In the diesel versions, the 1.7 CDTI is available in two power outputs of 110 and 130 CV. In addition, the 1.6 SIDI engine will join the range early next year.

Finally, the Astra Sedan will reach dealerships in our country from next October, although interested customers can already place their orders.
