Opel Corsa 2011

After the images of this model from the official configurator spread across the entire blogosphere, Opel had no choice but to unveil its Corsa 2011.
Now, brands usually take their models to certain places so their presentations don’t go unnoticed, and what place did Opel choose? None other than Bologna, a city that in a few days will host its own motor show.

In the images released by the brand, the model shows some changes, mainly concentrated at the front, where a redesigned bumper, new headlights, an expanded exterior colour range, new alloy wheel designs, rear lights… can be seen.
Inside, the truth is that everything remains more or less the same, so we can only highlight the new 3D navigation system, which comes with a centre console featuring a slightly more elegant finish than the model currently on sale.

As you can see, the model is not an extreme leap forward or a complete renewal compared with the current version. At least mechanically, Opel has worked hard to improve one of this model’s “weak” points, the chassis.
Among the elements modified to improve the car’s behaviour, according to the press release issued by the brand, are the steering and the suspension tuning. As for engines, a new version appears equipped with the 1.3-litre CDTI engine producing 95 CV, with which Opel claims an average consumption of 3.5 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 94 g/km.
