Opel Experimental Concept: the brand's future will be unveiled in Munich
The lightning bolt brand has given a few brief hints about what the brand’s future model will be, which we will be able to see at the Munich Motor Show this September

Opel has once again surprised automotive enthusiasts by offering a preview and a few brief hints about the new concept car from the company, the Opel Experimental. With an avant-garde aesthetic and a clear commitment to innovation, this vehicle promises to mark a new chapter in the history of the German brand, taking its design philosophy “Bold and Pure” to the extreme.
The official presentation of the Opel Experimental will take place during this year’s IAA Mobility, which will be held in Munich from 5 to 10 September 2023, a unique setting for the unveiling of an exceptional model from the brand.

The first images of the Opel Experimental reveal an incredible bodywork with a blend of green tones and silver greys, where every detail has been carefully designed to give this car the best aerodynamics possible. This eco-friendly approach shows Opel’s commitment to resource conservation and its clear focus on sustainability.
The central element of this concept car is the Opel Compass, a novel design through which the brand wants to reflect its philosophy in every detail. At the heart of this compass sits the new illuminated Blitz, the iconic Opel emblem, proudly positioned at the centre of the Opel Compass. This element blends harmoniously into the Opel Vizor, the distinctive front fascia that concentrates the brand’s technology and style.

Looking at the lighting of the new concept car, we notice the elongated shape it has, in the form of a wing, giving the Opel Experimental a unique and distinctive touch. In addition, a red light graphic at the rear of the vehicle once again echoes the Opel Compass, achieving continuity and uniformity in its design.
The Opel Experimental stands out not only for its exterior appearance but also for its futuristic interior. The sculpted seats suggest a sustainable approach and a concern for resource conservation, characteristics typical of Opel vehicles. This attention to detail and to the comfort of the driver and passengers demonstrates the brand’s commitment to delivering superior driving experiences.

Florian Huettl, CEO of Opel, stated: “The Opel Experimental marks the beginning of a new chapter for our brand. It has been designed to provide a tangible vision of where Opel is heading.” Huettl also announced that more details about this revolutionary vehicle will be revealed soon, generating even greater expectations among motoring enthusiasts.
All other details about this prototype will come to light once it is presented in Munich in September, with which the brand hopes to take one step further towards its main goal of “Bold and Pure”.
