Geomax MX 34: Dunlop's intermediate tyre for motocross enthusiasts
Dunlop continues to innovate to meet the needs of its customers. In another effort to do so, they present the Geomax MX 34, the new intermediate tyre for motocross enthusiasts

Dunlop is expanding its tyre range for Geomax motocross with the launch of the Geomax MX34, an intermediate tyre that incorporates a series of innovations based on its successful predecessor and has been designed to deliver the highest performance and comfort for the most demanding riders.
Dunlop is the supplier of tyres across several motorcycling disciplines, such as the World Superbike Championship (WorldSBK), the World Enduro Championship (EnduroGP) and the well-known FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP).
The MX 34 tyre has been designed with the aim of providing greater grip to motocross riders, both professionals and amateurs, with proven performance and consistency in competition. This new addition succeeds the popular Geomax MX33, which has become the preferred choice for a wide variety of surfaces, from soft and muddy to intermediate, and for use in any weather conditions.

The new tyre sits between the Geomax MX14, designed for sand and mud, and the Geomax MX53, ideal for intermediate and hard surfaces. It will be available from July 2023 in 17 different sizes, covering front dimensions of 10, 12, 14, 17, 19 and 21 inches, and rear dimensions of 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 19 inches.
The Geomax MX34 has been tested by some of the best motocross riders in the world, both in the FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP) and in the AMA Supercross Championship. Whether in motocross or superbike competitions, Dunlop works closely with teams to develop future tyres on track, which guarantees proven race performance for all riders, regardless of their level of experience.

This new tyre features design improvements at both the front and rear. At the front, the tread block design has been optimised and the compound has been updated, providing greater traction and durability compared with its predecessor. In addition, the increased space between the blocks allows better mud evacuation.
On the rear tyre, the centre blocks have become 11% taller and 44% wider to provide greater traction. This increase in rear grip gives riders much more powerful acceleration, as well as better response and sensitivity. These new designs also provide greater grip when starting from a standstill, which benefits opportunities for faster starts.

Luca Davide Andreoni, Marketing Director of Dunlop Motorcycle Europe, comments: “The new Dunlop Geomax MX34 adds even more traction and performance to a tyre that was already exceptional. Working together with the best MXGP and Supercross teams, we have improved a number of characteristics to give riders of all levels greater durability, traction and slide control across a wide variety of surfaces, from soft to intermediate. Together with the Geomax MX14 and MX53, we are proud to present our strongest motocross tyre range to date, based on our innovations proven in the top professional championships”.
