Opel teams up with Disney's "Planes" to promote its people carriers

Film releases aimed at children are often a common advertising hook for people carrier manufacturers. Opel wants to take advantage of the fact that Disney’s new production, Planes, hits cinemas across Spain on 14 August to launch a new promotional campaign for its most family-oriented models.
In this case, it is not a matter of creating limited series as has happened with other films, but of benefits for customers who visit the dealerships Opel. Firstly, those who request a test drive of the Meriva, Zafira or Zafira Tourer between this month and 31 October will receive either four free tickets to see Disney’s new film or various gifts related to it.
A discount on the Opel range, which can reach 4,700 euros, also remains in force and can be enjoyed until the end of 2013. Within this same date range, the German brand rounds off the promotional campaign with a prize draw for a trip to Disneyland Paris for two adults and two children. There, the little ones will be able to see the characters and shows from the film up close.
