Opel Vivaro Sport, a commercial vehicle with a sporty look
New Opel Vivaro Sport
The natural purpose of a commercial vehicle is to serve as a working tool for businesses and professionals, meeting the needs each of them has in their day-to-day activities. That does not preclude the vehicle from becoming one used for leisure at the weekend with family or friends. That is why Opel has given the Vivaro a much sportier look, so that it can be enjoyed both in everyday life and when not working.
The Opel Vivaro Sport is a variant that combines dynamic design with the usual practicality of a commercial vehicle and clever details. The new version will be available on the Combi, van and double cab bodies in two wheelbase lengths. The Opel Vivaro offers elegance and comfort on a par with a passenger car, including a much more eye-catching design and extensive standard equipment.
The exterior stands out for its decorative bands in silver or black that complement a range of exclusive body colours. These bands adorn the sides, roof and bonnet, giving the Vivaro a dynamic look. The 17″ alloy wheels, available in black as an option, emphasise the sporty appearance. The front headlights feature LED daytime running lights. The rear windows are tinted protecting occupants from the sun’s rays and also from prying eyes.

Inside, it offers optional leather upholstery and velour floor mats, both with white contrast stitching. The infotainment systems are also part of this sporty variant of the Opel Vivaro. Passengers can travel entertained with the IntelliLink Navi 50 multimedia system, listening to music streamed via Bluetooth or through audio devices with a USB port, or operating it with Siri voice control on compatible Apple devices. Later on, the IntelliLink Navi 80 system will be available as an option.
The adaptive cruise control with speed limiter ensures relaxed driving, and the rear parking assist, based on ultrasonic sensors, protects the vehicle from minor bumps when parking. The Vivaro Sport also features the optional “Sport” boot kit, adding style and protection with dark grey side panels, practical storage compartments and bluish lighting.
The engine fitted to the Opel Vivaro Sport is the BiTurbo engine with 125 CV or 145 CV of power. With this modern technology under the bonnet, the extensive equipment and the clever design details, the new Opel Vivaro Sport offers a valuable alternative to those who want to combine the large capacity of a commercial vehicle with the comfort and sportiness of a passenger car.
