This weekend’s event is Monterey Car Week, which includes the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and we are seeing a good number of cars debuting at the event. One of the most anticipated moments is ‘The Quail – A Motorsport Gathering’, one of the sections where new cars that aim to surprise us are presented. We bring you one more so you can enjoy the proposals from the major brands, this time courtesy of Pagani.

The Pagani Huayra Roadster Gyrfalcon that the brand has presented takes its name from the gyrfalcon, a deadly and fast bird of prey, so we can get an idea of what they want to present with this supercar. This type of falcon is generally white, so the bodywork takes this color as its reference and is largely painted in it.

Alongside the white color we find several carbon fiber elements that give the car more presence and recall the speckled wings of this bird of prey. The physical look is finished with touches of yellow, a color that is also present on the beak, the legs and the feathers around the eyes of the gyrfalcon.

Unfortunately, they have not published many photos of this model, so we have to make do with the general look of the supercar and some detail of the interior. There are images of the falcon in yellow on the door panels, where they have been stitched to make the bird stand out. There are also yellow details in other points of the interior, as you can see in the photos.

The Pagani Huayra was presented at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and is powered by a Biturbo V12 engine from Mercedes AMG. This unit delivers a power output of 765 CV and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm at 2,400 rpm. This power reaches the wheels through a seven-speed automated manual gearbox with automatic clutch, which can be operated via the gear lever or the paddles mounted on the steering wheel.
