Paris Motor Show 2010: Opel

In this post you will be able to see everything that Opel has decided to bring to the Paris Motor Show, which, as you can see, is none other than the new Astra SW and the long-awaited Astra GTC Paris, a model that, thanks to this new image gallery, looks much more sporty than expected.
As you can see in the header photo and especially in the gallery in the extended post with this new model, Opel has made us start afresh and see the new GTC as a model that is much more aggressive and sporty, but above all eye-catching, which will surely get young people to choose the Astra GTC again over any other compact.

As for the model shown in the photographs, from what we have been able to gather, it comes equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo engine that produces a staggering 290 hp, as well as an interior that lacks a bit more originality.
As for the Astra SW estate, its eye-catching lines stand out, as does its boot capacity of no less than 1,400 cubic centimetres, or an increase in its wheelbase of 71 millimetres. According to Opel, this last figure is intended to improve the model’s interior space.
As for the engines used by both models once they reach the market, it should be highlighted, according to its managers, that they will feature small-displacement engines, both petrol and diesel, supercharged, so as to reduce emissions while achieving the much-desired increase in power.
