Autoweek did not want to wait until tonight to reveal the first images of the Peugeot 208, and thanks to them we can see the details of the new 208, which arrives with a much more dynamic and avant-garde design than the current model.

The front features the brand’s new design language, along with LED daytime running lights, as we can see in the photos, and a more dynamic rear end where its light clusters are the stars. The exterior design steps up a category, making it a much more elegant vehicle than the current one, with more elaborate shapes and a marked personality.

The biggest changes are in the interior. The video teaser already hinted at changes in this area, and it is finally the large display positioned closer to the driver that stands out, while the steering wheel has been completely redesigned and carries the avant-garde design of the exterior into the cabin.

We know little about the mechanical range, but it seems it will include a diesel engine capable of homologating just 3.4 l/100 km. We’ll have more information about the new French city car tomorrow.
