Peugeot 308 RC Z unveiled in Spain

Denns Albi     13 June 2009     1 min.

The platform of the 308 is one of the most flexible the French manufacturer has, so it is no surprise that different variants have been brought to market, such as the 3008, the CC and finally the RC Z.

The latter is set to be one of the most exciting sports cars from the company, as it is designed to compete in the Audi TT category, obviously because of its similarities.

The car was spotted during its performance tests this week in Spain and, as can be seen in the images, the coupe has wide bumpers, a new front design and a rear line with greater harmony.

No details of the mechanics are known, however, considering the prototype presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2007 and the segment it is aimed at, it would not be surprising if it offered a range of options between petrol and diesel engines.

We just have to wait until August, when the production version of the Peugeot 308 RC Z will be officially presented to the world in Germany.
