Peugeot RCZ R special "Bimota" edition with 305CV

The Peugeot RCZ R is the ultimate performance model for the French lion brand, as a sports coupé should be, and so the team at Peugeot Sport decided to push this model to even higher limits.
In this way, Peugeot and the Italian motorcycle manufacturer “Bimota” have joined forces to create the RCZ R Bimota special edition, which was revealed this past weekend during the Bike Expo Motor in Verona, Italy.
The project’s internal name is PB104, where the 1 refers to the project number of the work carried out by Bimota and Peugeot, and the 04 refers to the number of wheels on this model. So future collaborations between these two brands cannot be ruled out, although more focused on the world of two wheels, given the meaning of this project.

On the outside, it features a racing tricolour paint scheme representative of the Bimota motorcycle brand, which recalls the victories achieved by the brand, along with five-spoke alloy wheels in black.
Its interior is characterised by seats upholstered in a mixed Alcántara and leather trim, as well as red accents on the dashboard. On the passenger side sits a 7″ screen, connected to two GoPros and the car’s on-board computer. The rear seats have been removed to fit two leather-lined storage compartments, where helmets can be stored after a “Track Day” session, for example.
Mechanically, this special edition uses a 1.6 THP petrol engine producing 305CV thanks to a new turbo wastegate valve, a new exhaust system and a revised engine map. The braking system has also been upgraded with 380mm front discs, while the suspension has been lowered by 10 mm.
