Polestar 3: 600 km of range for the new high-performance electric SUV
From October onwards, Polestar will add a new model to its range, the Polestar 3, a high-performance electric SUV of which we already have the first image.

Polestar is one of the brands attracting the most interest among users looking towards electric mobility. And with this new model, the Polestar 3, they do so even more. It is Polestar’s first SUV, bringing much more than an imposing look.
As is usual with these first reports on a new model, the details are trickling out slowly. But the Swedish brand has already announced that the Polestar 3 will be officially unveiled in October, as part of a launch plan that foresees bringing a new vehicle to market every year over the next three years and reaching presence in more than 30 global markets by the end of 2023. Polestar wants to multiply its sales by 10, going from the 29,000 cars it currently sells to 290,000 by the end of 2025. To do so, it needs product to add to its range, where it already offers the Polestar 2, and an SUV in its lineup, one of the fastest-growing segments.
A 100% electric high-performance SUV with 600 km of range
As for the technical features of the Polestar 3, the electric SUV is confirmed to come from the outset with a powerful dual-motor propulsion system and a large-capacity battery that gives a WLTP range of 600 km. Polestar also states that, in the future, the Polestar 3 will feature an autonomous driving system, based on an advanced LiDAR sensor from the manufacturer Luminar and an NVIDIA CPU.
Brand customers will be able to place orders for the Polestar 3 from the very day of the official presentation of the car, which will take place in October. The presentation will begin in early 2023 in China and the United States. “With this model we give the SUV a sporty touch that reflects our high-performance tradition,” said Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar.
