Porsche announces a new colour, badge and design for the Porsche Turbo models
The iconic Porsche Turbo range is being renewed with an unmistakable design and exclusive elements such as a redesigned badge, a new colour and a fresh exterior look

Since its debut in 1974, the Turbo models of Porsche have been synonymous with extraordinary performance and exclusive design. Now, to mark its fiftieth anniversary, Porsche has taken the distinction of the Turbo range to new heights to highlight its uniqueness, unveiling a new look for its Turbo models that includes a new colour, new badge and a new design.
The Turbo versions of Porsche have occupied the summit of each model line, establishing themselves as true icons of high performance. To further elevate their individuality, Porsche has refined their appearance with exclusive features that not only emphasise their power but also mark a milestone in design. Michael Mauer, Vice President of Style Porsche, notes: “We want the Turbo models to be instantly recognisable, distinct from other versions such as the GTS. That is why we have developed a distinctive Turbo aesthetic that will feature a clear look across all model series: elegant, high-quality and truly special”.

Turbonite: the new colour
At the heart of this stylistic revolution is the exclusive metallic shade Turbonite. Reserved solely for the Turbo models, this colour has been meticulously developed by Porsche’s Colour and Finishes experts. Turbonite not only creates an elegant metallic effect but also redefines the visual identity of the Turbo range. This shade extends to selected exterior and interior elements, offering an unmistakable appearance that sets new design trends.

A redefined badge
One of the most notable changes is the exclusive redesign of the badge that distinguishes Porsche. Now, the traditional gold is replaced by the striking Turbonite colour, which becomes the trademark of the Turbo models. This change will be rolled out progressively across the range, with the new generation of the Panamera leading the way in its world premiere on 24 November 2023.

Turbonite inside
Turbonite is not limited to the bodywork; it is also present in the cabin of the Turbo models. From decorative trim to the climate control panel and the seatbelts, Turbonite, combined with the black interior, creates an elegant contrast in the seat stitching, door trims and floor mats, adding a touch of sophistication to the interior of every Turbo.

New distinction for the Turbo models
Porsche has set a new standard of distinction with the introduction of Turbonite and the exclusive redesign of the distinctive badge. This transformation not only highlights the heritage of the Turbo models but also points the way towards the future of automotive excellence. With the next generation of the Panamera leading the charge, the Porsche Turbo models will mark an exciting and stylish chapter in the brand’s history. The Turbo revolution has begun, and Turbonite is the emblem that will carry distinction to new horizons. Let us see what is yet to come.
