Prices and equipment of the Mitsubishi ASX

The new Mitsubishi crossover arrives packing a punch, at least when it comes to pricing and equipment. Its target is a rival from the same nationality, the Nissan Qashqai. However, the new Mitsubishi ASX starts at a fairly good price and comes with a very complete equipment list, as well as an attractive design and finishes that are expected to match the rest of the range, which we will report on as soon as we have the chance to see it in person.
The only engine option that will be available in our country is the 200 DiD diesel engine, which is actually a 1.8 unit producing 150 CV. New engine options are also expected, such as a possible 115 CV version or a petrol engine.
As for equipment, the ASX will come in two trim levels: the Motion and Kaiteki. The first of these comes standard with multiple airbags, ABS plus ESP, traction control and emergency brake assist, 17″ alloy wheels, xenon headlights, an MP3 sound system with USB input, automatic climate control and the Star & Stop system, among other features.

On the other hand, the most complete trim, called Kaiteki, adds leather upholstery, electrically adjustable seats, a Rockford Fosgate sound system, among other features. The price list is as follows:
- ASX 200 DiD 150 CV Motion 24,150 euros
- ASX 200 DiD 150 CV Kaiteki 25,750 euros
- ASX 200 DiD 150 CV Motion 4WD 27,450 euros
- ASX 200 DiD 150 CV Kaiteki 4WD 29,500 euros
