Prodrive will bring 25 units of the Subaru Impreza World Rally Car to life
The Prodrive P25 will make its public debut at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed, held in June.

The Subaru Impreza World Rally Car is celebrating an anniversary, as it marks 25 years since its debut in the World Rally Championship. Now Prodrive intends to pay tribute to it by using the same essence as the Subaru Impreza, but drawing inspiration from the Impreza 22B, one of the most iconic Subaru Impreza models. New technologies will allow the Prodrive P25 to be more powerful, lighter and better to drive.
The Prodrive P25 will feature a four-cylinder boxer engine with 2.5-litre capacity that will be capable of producing more than 400 CV. In addition, it will be paired with a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox with paddle shifters on the steering wheel. The chassis will also be developed in carbon fibre, providing an extra saving in weight.
This is what the Prodrive P25 will look like
The Prodrive P25 will reach the market as a limited series of 25 units. All will be built at Prodrive’s headquarters in Banbury, United Kingdom. Peter Stevens, who designed the original Subaru Impreza WRC for Prodrive, defined the design, while the engineering of the car was overseen by Prodrive’s technical director, David Lapworth, who was responsible for the original Impreza WRC.

For now, there is not much more information about the new Prodrive P25, which will pay tribute to the Subaru Impreza World Rally Car. The first sketch of the model has been published. What we do know is that the Prodrive P25 will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which takes place next June.
At present, Prodrive is already accepting applications to own one of the 25 limited units it will produce in the coming weeks. The first unit will reach its lucky owner at the end of this same year 2022. Will we have to wait to learn all the details about one of the most iconic models on the market?
