Production of the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster sold out until mid-2014
Lamborghini, having unveiled the Aventador Roadster just three months ago, has confirmed that its production of the open-top supercar is sold out until mid-2014.

In mid-November, Lamborghini officially presented the Aventador Roadster, the convertible version of its flagship. From that moment on, the wealthiest customers of the bull brand could place their orders, without knowing that three months later, production of the Italian supercar would be sold out until mid-2014.
The Lamborghini factory in Sant’Agata is currently capable of producing between 600 and 700 units of the LP700-4 per year, both Coupé and Roadster, so that means more than a thousand vehicles have been reserved to date, figures that are truly astonishing for this luxury and exclusive subsidiary of the VAG Group. Something similar also happened when the Aventador and the Ferrari FF were presented.
As a reminder, the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, like the hard-top version, features a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine capable of delivering more than 700 CV of power to all four wheels via a Haldex-type central differential. Last year, fuel-saving measures were introduced, mainly focused on deactivating six of its twelve cylinders.
It is capable of reaching 100 km/h from a standstill in 2.9 seconds. It has a top speed of 350 km/h.
