Project Kahn sets its sights on the Focus RS

With the imminent arrival of the sportier versions of the new Focus, it’s no surprise that tuners such as Project Kahn have set their sights on real beauties like the previous-generation Ford Focus RS, one of the most attractive and punchy high-performance compacts on the market today.

I assume you’ll remember that, at the time, it was best known for its attractive 2.5-litre turbocharged engine, capable of delivering a whopping 305 CV to its owner, which, thanks to certain tweaks, makes the car look truly more striking.

Specifically, the changes Project Kahn has made to this car are limited to fitting new 19-inch alloy wheels, tinted windows, new exhaust outlets, and matte black trim on certain elements such as the rear spoiler, side vents, rear and front diffusers, ventilation grilles…

As an option, customers can have a much more powerful braking system fitted, sports suspension, or an interior fully customised to their taste, which means the cabin can show more or less quality and detailing depending on how much the buyer’s budget allows.
