Rafa Nadal joins the X-Men in this Kia Sorento commercial

Kia-6X-Men
We already knew that Rafa Nadal would be unveiling the new Kia Sorento X Car, a car based on the popular X-Men, and more specifically on Wolverine, the character played by Hugh Jackman. The car has been launched to support the sponsorship of the Australian Open and, along the way, the launch of the DVD and Blu-ray of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Don’t get your hopes up about having one in your garage, because although it is based on the model that was presented in Korea and later at the Paris Motor Show, it is not a production model. It is a concept car intended for display at events where Kia is present and needs to shine as a sponsor.

And since the brand’s ambassador is the Mallorcan tennis player Rafa Nadal, he is quite involved in the car’s presentation. And not only at the Australian Open, where he received a key to it and was the star of the event that fully unveiled the vehicle that Wolverine could well drive in his battle against the Sentinels in the film.

In the commercial you are about to see, Nadal is training, and we discover that he is also one of the mutants Charles Xavier turns to in order to solve problems that the members of the X-Men are unable to solve. The video shows the native of Manacor driving the Kia, which has all the features of the production model, although it features a spectacular new design, including Wolverine’s adamantium claws on its front and rear.

Besides the events where Kia is present, this car will also appear at the Motor Shows where the Korean brand has a presence, so that X-Men fans can see the car that saves the day. Seeing Nadal will be harder, but that’s what the advertisement is for, which you can watch below.
