Renault announces the Kangoo Be Bop for Paris

Apparently, this is the variant of the Kangoo Compact that the French brand announced in a press release recently, and which will share its stand with many other new releases, the star being the new Mégane, of course.

This fun variant of the Kangoo is based on the Kangoo Compact Concept shown in Frankfurt last year, and is a passenger car derivative measuring 3.87 metres in length, with a bold and creative look that offers plenty of possibilities for colour combinations and equipment elements.

On the outside, its two-tone paintwork stands out, along with the rear flip-up tailgate and the electric sunroof at the front, as well as a suspension raised by 20 mm compared with other Kangoos to avoid underbody damage when driving over poor surfaces, which gives it an additional off-road character, although it has front-wheel drive.

Inside the Kangoo Be Bop nobody gets bored, thanks to the colours of the dashboard (red or blue) and the upholstery, as well as other elements. It also has four individual seats and comes with a Carminat navigation system with Bluetooth, colour screen or TMS, plus USB ports, an auxiliary audio input and an MP3 player in a space in the centre console.

Finally, the standard equipment is complete depending on the versions, and includes features such as parking sensors, fog lights, ESP, multifunction steering wheel or automatic climate control. The engines include two diesels based on the 1.5 dCi with 85 and 105 CV respectively, plus a 1.6i 16v petrol engine with 110 CV.
