Renault Koleos: slight updates for the French SUV

Renault has a refresh ready for the Koleos, its urban SUV with an on-road focus. New exterior details, more advanced safety systems, and more elegant, attractive colours make up a rational and appealing offer.

Renault has just launched a light redesign of the Koleos, the SUV from the French brand. Thanks to these modest changes, Renault aims to keep fresh a model that has been around for several years and is starting to show its age.

The changes focus on the exterior, where it debuts a new front end, new wheels and more elegant colours. The interior has also received updates, such as the R-Link multimedia system and the blind spot warning system (BSW).

On the outside, the Koleos features the brand’s new logo, much larger than the previous one and taking a more prominent role at the front, where it is flanked by gloss black finishes.
Now, the wing mirrors incorporate LED turn indicators, and the wheels have been redesigned for a sportier look.

In the interior and multimedia section, the Koleos now gets the R-Link system, which opens up entertainment possibilities thanks to internet connectivity and third-party apps. Another important addition is the blind spot warning system (BSW), a first for the French SUV, which uses presence sensors located in the exterior mirrors to alert the driver to a vehicle in the blind spot, reducing the chance of a collision.

A new range of colours more elegant completes the redesign of the Koleos, which will remain on sale for another 3-4 years before the arrival of the next all-new model.
