Rezvani gives the Lamborghini Urus a more nocturnal look and armors its bodywork

The Lamborghini Urus is already a spectacular car in its own right, but Rezvani has decided to give it a more aggressive image, fully adapted for urban adventure. It has worked on a unit of this Italian luxury SUV and given it a look that could well earn it a place in one of the Batman films.

In fact, the resulting model is called the Knight and has received a generous amount of carbon fiber on its bodywork to create this attractive and powerful shape. To do so, it has modified the bodywork, but has kept some of the features that make the Urus perfectly identifiable beneath that new covering.

The silhouette of the SUV and the rear lights are what most identify the model hiding beneath this transformation, although there are elements that give it a definitely different touch. The bodywork has been widened to accommodate armored plates, which derive from designs for military vehicles and sculpt its new form.

At the rear it gains a bold-design rear spoiler, and the vehicle sits on 22-inch wheels. These are fitted with 33-inch all-terrain tires, and the look is completed with a bar of additional LED lights on the roof and two more auxiliary lights on the hood. This design can also be completed with light armoring that makes the vehicle much safer.

The Dark Knight kit

The Lamborghini Urus by Rezvani goes one step further and achieves near-military protection thanks to light armor plating and bulletproof windows. The underside of the SUV is protected by an anti-explosive plate. This safety package also adds reinforced suspension and a set of night vision cameras. A set of strobe lights and a siren can also be added.

Other optional equipment includes gas masks for the occupants, bulletproof vests and protective helmets. With all of this, the Urus becomes a survivor fit for any high-risk situation. But it can also, in addition, go on the offensive with extra equipment.

Electrified door handles, blinding lights, a steel bumper for ramming attacking vehicles and a pepper spray dispenser complete the optional pack to turn the Lamborghini Urus into an armored vehicle in which to feel safe against any attack.

Performance and price

The Urus’s weight has increased considerably, as is only natural. However, Rezvani claims it will still deliver supercar performance. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is put at 3 seconds. The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine delivers up to 800 CV. This is expected in the Urus SE plug-in hybrid version.

The price of this Knight version is not cheap. In its most basic form it starts at 149,000 euros, without the Dark Knight package. That said, the buyer will have to supply the Urus, so it becomes a rather costly transformation to acquire, and it is only within reach of those who genuinely need an Urus prepared for efficient and stylish personal protection.
