Rolls Royce Phantom Limo, a long armoured limousine that every VIP would want to own

A limousine always adds something to a celebration. It might be a group of teenagers heading to a school party, a wedding or a executive’s business trip. But if the limousine is a Rolls Royce, we know that whatever the occasion, it becomes something even more special. The German company Klassen has taken on the task of modifying this Rolls Royce Phantom to turn it into a very special limousine that is also armoured.

The Rolls Royce Phantom usually has a wheelbase of 3,772 millimetres, which the German tuner felt was not enough for its occupants, so he increased it to 4,882 millimetres. Naturally, the car’s overall length has also grown, and in this version it reaches 7,032 millimetres. But that is not the only substantial change to the model.

Considering that this type of vehicle will not be used by just anyone, but by a personality with special needs, he has added a B7 ballistic armour to the bodywork. With this additional protection, the car’s passengers can feel completely safe from attacks with weapons. The ballistic protection is completed with partition walls between compartments, so safety is greater and it allows protection against gunfire, explosions or fires.

The Rolls Royce Phantom is quite a heavy car. For example, the version with the longer wheelbase weighs 2,610 kg, which is already a considerable weight. With these modifications, the car’s weight has increased considerably, although the exact figure has not been disclosed. To move this giant, it was decided to keep the twin-turbo V12 engine, which produces 563 CV, enough to power this variant. Though, prioritising comfort over speed, which is no bad thing.

The price of this spectacular variant is 3.3 million euros, although those who want to travel in it can certainly afford it.
