Rolls Royce unveils a collection inspired by the equestrian world

One of the defining features of Rolls Royce is, of course, luxury. But that luxury is not just part of its overall image; the brand has built around it an image of exclusivity that goes beyond the cars themselves. Such touches are present throughout the brand’s entire range, and they are especially emphasized in its new designs, as is the case with the Al-Adiyat collection.

This Arabic name refers to the sound a horse makes when it strikes the ground’s stones forcefully with its hooves, throwing up sparks as it runs. That is the idea they will convey across the entire series, which has been launched with the Phantom Coupé Al-Adiyat, a car that sets the style for the nine Rolls Royce Wraiths still to be revealed.

All of them will be painted in red, with a two-tone cloth interior in white and red. Around the car we will find many decorative motifs related to horses and luxury, in the form of shields and other images that give the model added presence.

On the clock and on the lower door sill, golden horseshoes can be seen, attesting to their connection with the world of luxury equestrianism. Galloping horse figures also appear on the headrests of the front seats, along with similar elements throughout the rest of the interior.

The engine powering this special Rolls Royce model is the one fitted to the base model, so the differences with it are limited to the bodywork and equipment. It is a 6.75-liter V12 engine, producing 460 CV and a maximum torque of 720 Nm, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
