Rush, the trailer for the new F1 film arrives

Long before Alain Prost and the great Ayrton Senna took to the stage, Formula 1 already existed. Since the first race of one of the most famous motor competitions in the world got underway in 1950, many drivers have taken part, but only a few have managed to stay in everyone’s memory. Among them, the rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda, two world champions in the 1970s and 1980s, stands out.

Since the documentary about Ayrton Senna’s life was released in 2011, there has been no talk of a new film related to Formula 1 until this year. At the end of summer 2013, Rush will hit the big screen, a film that portrays the rivalry between Lauda and Hunt, although, unlike the film about Ayrton Senna, Rush will feature real actors.

The first trailer for the film has just been published online, showing recreated scenes such as the famous crash that nearly cost Niki Lauda his life, and the internal battles the two drivers had with each other. Filming took place at Hampshire Airport, Snetterton in Norfolk, Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire, Brands Hatch in Kent and the Nürburgring circuit in Germany, among other locations.

James Hunt and Niki Lauda, played by Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl respectively, are the leads of a film you won’t want to miss. Below I’m leaving you the trailer video; I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
