RXR One Super GT: the most aggressive tuning of the Mercedes-AMG GT reaches 860 CV
The tuning of the Mercedes-AMG GT has been developed by IMSA and features changes to its engine, chassis and exterior styling, reaching 860 CV of power

The Mercedes AMG GT is one of the fiercest supercars on the market, but some people are not satisfied with that, and for them we have good news: the tuner IMSA has launched an extremely radical version of the German model called the RXR One Super GT. This is a version with a spectacular power increase that also includes several tweaks to its tuning and styling.
The RXR One Super GT uses new turbos, an intercooler, a fuel injection system and forged pistons. These four upgrades allow its V8 engine to produce a whopping 860 CV of power and 1,000 Nm of torque; an incredible increase when you consider that the standard Mercedes AMG GT S offers 510 CV of power and 650 Nm of torque. The automatic gearbox has also been modified so that it can handle the overwhelming increase in power.

As for the chassis, the German supercar receives a new suspension, a roll cage, high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes and a new wheel package with two 20-inch wheels on the front axle and two 21-inch wheels at the rear. The Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres are responsible, with their outstanding grip, for ensuring the power isn’t lost through the wheels.
The bodywork of the RXR One Super GT has been made with a higher proportion of carbon fibre than the standard versions (AMG GT S and AMG GT R). The bonnet, the boot lid, the bumpers and the diffusers are some of the elements that have been finished in this ultralight material. With these changes, IMSA claims the car has lost 300 kilos.
IMSA’s tuning will be delivered to the public in a series of limited units. We still don’t know how many there will be or their price. We recall that the starting price of the Mercedes AMG GT S is 169,175 euros.
