Saab and Volvo will receive government financial aid from the Swedish government

The two Swedish manufacturers that have recently been put up for sale by their former car group owners (General Motors owned Saab and the Ford group owned Volvo) may be a little more relieved about the difficult situation they are going through, because the Swedish government has confirmed a financial aid package of 2.500 million euros for both.
The credit will take effect immediately, but it will not mean that Sweden will own shares in either of the two brands, but rather it is aid so that the crisis at their respective former parent groups does not seriously affect them. The money also seemed quite necessary because General Motors and Ford were going to focus the use of the financial aid they requested from the US government on their North American brands, and not on the European ones. It may even improve the offers from other larger companies that may be preparing to buy Saab and Volvo in the future.
