Saab: GM won't give up an inch
Saab remains at a dead end, while GM does not grant its permission for the Chinese to take over Saab. The latest proposal was also rejected by the American manufacturer.

Even though days have passed and all the parties involved in the sale of Saab before its liquidation have already done everything possible to reach some kind of agreement, GM won’t give in. The Americans remain stubborn: they won’t give the Chinese anything, neither the 9-4X nor technology. And the Swedish press keeps bombarding us with news that is anything but encouraging.
The newspaper Dagens Industri reports that after Youngman and Pang Da presented their umpteenth proposal to GM, which was rejected once again, the brand’s spokesperson made the following statement:
Saab and Youngman can do whatever they want for the good of the company. But if that involves selling 100% of Saab, they will have to do it without the cars we supply, not even the 9-4X, and without our technology.
I don’t think anything more needs to be added. Saab will keep waiting for a miracle.
