Saab: Lofalk will ask to lift the protection again

Guy Lofalk, Saab’s administrator and protector, would ask the court to lift the protection within just one week, given the paralysis in negotiations.

After GM rejected the latest plan proposed by Saab , according to the latest reports on Saab’s situation, its state is once again critical. The receiver and administrator of Saab’s interests under creditor protection, Guy Lofalk, has announced that he can no longer hold this off and will lift the protection on the brand within days.

To do so, the agreement of the court, the bankruptcy administration and Saab’s own executives will be sought, so there is still a window of roughly one week for Saab to surprise us once again with some magic formula that gets it out of trouble.

If we recall how many times Saab has been saved, almost at the last moment and with the guillotine about to fall, it does not seem it could not be saved once more. The problem is that Saab is increasingly cornered, and it would take a true army of lawyers able to interpret every loophole in the contracts made with GM in order to find a way out “on the left.”
