Scout Campers' proposal to turn your pick-up into an interesting motorhome
Pick-ups can also be converted into a camper vehicle, so it’s worth taking a closer look at this add-on that lets you go on holiday with a camper van.

Motorhomes and camper vans have become highly sought-after vehicles, chosen for enjoying holidays with freedom and without having to look for a hotel or any other type of accommodation. But these vehicles are not the only ones chosen for this, since pick-ups can also be turned into a comfortable and cozy home on wheels thanks to the equipment created for these vehicles by Scout Campers.
It is not the first manufacturer of this type of add-on to carry out this kind of installation for pick-ups, but in this case they have opted to reduce weight and make it more comfortable for users. The weight of the structure, made of aluminium, is 626 kg, so it is quite manageable. That said, one of its main drawbacks is the excessive height of the installation.

Comfort and efficiency
The company’s proposal is designed to fit most models of this type on the market. The living area is prepared so you can enjoy outdoor life without limitations, thanks to a gel that helps insulate it. In this way, users can use it both in summer and in winter.

The interior is divided into a living area where you will find a sofa, a Yeti 1000 portable battery and a fresh water tank, as well as solar panels on the roof. It does not come with a kitchen as standard, but one can be added as an option, either complete or in modules. These add a small portable fridge, two burners, an exterior awning and a toilet with portable shower, so all services can be had inside the living area.
The spacious bed is located above the cab, with capacity for four people. In addition, a tent can optionally be mounted on the roof for two more people. The price of this module to attach to the pick-up starts at 20,030 euros, although this can increase if you want to add any of the supplementary elements.
Although it is an expensive item, it is practical, since it only has to be mounted on the pick-up and the practical off-road van can be returned to its original appearance to keep using it day to day. Have you thought about turning your pick-up into a motorhome for travelling? Then this could be a good option for that.
