SEAT Mii, completing the circle

Here is an image of what is supposed to be the future SEAT Mii, according to the “SEATFANSCLUB” blog. The Mii will be the Spanish member of the trio of city cars from the Volkswagen group, alongside the Up! and the Citigo. The differences with these two will be reduced to aesthetic aspects. Mechanically they will be identical, with the same engines and similar dimensions.

It will go on sale at the end of 2011, at least in Spain, as it will reach the rest of Europe in mid-2012. It is a strategy similar to the one followed by its siblings, which will first appear in their respective home countries (although “their respective countries” is not literal, since all three will be built at the same plant that the VW group has in Slovakia) and later in the rest of the European nations.

More information about this new SEAT is coming soon, and there could even be a name change. Stay tuned.
