SEAT's Digital Cockpit, now also available in the Ibiza and Arona
The SEAT Ibiza and Arona join the range of models that can fit the interesting configurable TFT instrumentation, which the brand calls Digital Cockpit
SEAT first introduced digital instrumentation, which it calls Digital Cockpit, in January 2018 on its SEAT León and SEAT Ateca models. Now, this instrumentation, which is reaching more and more models across the Group Volkswagen, is extended within the SEAT range to the Ibiza and Arona models.
In the case of SEAT, the Digital Cockpit in the Ibiza and Arona replaces the conventional analogue instrumentation with a 26 cm diagonal TFT screen (10.25 inches), in full colour. With 1280 x 480 pixels and a refresh rate of 75 Hz, it offers high-resolution graphics and allows three display modes. Essentially, it is the same screen we have already seen on Volkswagen in its Polo and T-Roc models. In both the SEAT Ibiza and the Arona, the Digital Cockpit will be available as an option on all mechanical versions and with all trim levels except Reference, for a price of 310 euros. On the Seat León and Ateca, with the larger screen (12.25 inches), the price is around 350 euros.

- classic view, the Digital Cockpit simulates conventional analogue instrumentation, with two large dials for the speedometer and rev counter, presenting additional information between them, such as navigation prompts or driver assistance data.
- digital, the screen becomes entirely an interactive map. This view is ideal for following navigation system directions with barely having to take your eyes off the road. It also shows additional data in the background, such as vehicle status or the phone.
- dynamic moves the speedometer and rev counter indicators to the sides, with the dials in a semicircular shape, leaving more space between them to give prominence to other information, such as the navigator.

In addition to the
advantages of the Digital Cockpit, you can create up to three different custom profiles for each of the views. The driver will always have their profiles saved in the system so they can select them.
