Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT: the most sporty version of the electric SUV that will only reach Europe
Shelby American has just unveiled its first 100% electric model, based on a Mustang Mach-E GT that has been given a much more aggressive and radical look
The last times we brought you a Shelby through our news board, they were always purely American muscle cars or F-150s pushed beyond 700 CV. This time, however, it is something different, as the cobra brand has just unveiled its first 100% electric model.
As could not be otherwise, the model chosen from the Ford portfolio has been the Mustang Mach-E GT, which has been fitted with a new personalisation kit that gives it a much more sporty look than the conventional version, bringing out the most characteristic features of the American specialist.
High-fibre diet
Starting with its design, the new Shelby Mach-E GT features a new bumper with a carbon fibre splitter, and a grille and bonnet also made of carbon, which, in addition to giving it a more exclusive and sporty look, allows a notable reduction in weight of the whole.

Looking at the new SUV from the side profile, we find new alloy wheels painted in gloss black, sill covers, and mirror housings that are also made of carbon fibre, along with a vinyl decal kit that matches perfectly with the stripes running along the upper part of the SUV in black and turquoise blue.
Moving to the rear, the new Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT keeps an almost identical look to the blue oval version, although it adds the two stripes we have already mentioned across its tailgate and rear bumper, and the Shelby lettering in the lower right area of the tailgate.

No changes to its engine
As regards its tuning and performance, the Shelby engineers have kept the base model’s configuration intact, with two electric motors delivering 358 kW (487 CV), all-wheel drive and a range of up to 490 kilometres.
As you have already read in the headline, this limited special series of just 100 units will be reserved exclusively for the European market at a price of €24,900, a figure to which we must add the price of the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT.
