The Czech brand joins the virtual and immersive world of Gran Turismo 7 with the debut of its fully electric concept car with 800 kW of power (1071 CV), the Skoda Vision Gran Turismo

Škoda Auto, one of the brands known for its automotive excellence and its wide range of options, aims to dazzle car enthusiasts and, this time, video game enthusiasts too, with the launch of its Škoda Vision Gran Turismo concept car. A fully electric concept car designed exclusively for the game Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation. This move marks Škoda’s foray into digital racing simulators while paying tribute to the iconic 1957 Škoda 1100 OHC Spider, a true legend.
The Škoda Vision Gran Turismo is a fusion of Škoda’s heritage and the technological vanguard of the 21st century. This concept is equipped with four electric motors that deliver a total output of 800 kW, equivalent to 1071 CV in the game’s world.

Debut in the virtual world
For the first time, Škoda ventures into one of PlayStation’s most popular games, Gran Turismo 7. This collaboration represents a bold step forward, in which Škoda not only shows its commitment to innovation, but also seeks to attract new fans to the brand. The Škoda Vision Gran Turismo is a statement of intent, demonstrating that Škoda is ready to conquer new territories, even in the digital world of racing.

The spirit of the Škoda 1100 OHC Spider lives on
The Škoda Vision Gran Turismo not only pays homage to the legendary Škoda 1100 OHC Spider, but also incorporates key elements of its design, such as the split rear spoiler. It also adopts features of Škoda’s new Modern Solid design language, such as the T-shaped headlights and the distinctive matte body colour Explorer Green.

The Škoda Vision Gran Turismo, with its compact dimensions of 4.41 m in length, 1.95 m in width and just 94.9 cm in height, is a marvel of modern engineering. Equipped with four synchronous motors delivering 200 kW and 25,000 rpm each, brushless and powered by an 87 kWh lithium-ion battery, this single-seater offers an impressive maximum output of 800 kW, along with a maximum torque of 1,020 Nm, and reaches up to 25,000 rpm. With single-speed transmission and all-wheel drive, the Škoda Vision Gran Turismo promises an unmatched driving experience in the exciting virtual world of Gran Turismo 7.
An immersive interior
Looking at the interior of the Škoda Vision Gran Turismo, we can see how much care has been taken to place the driver at the centre of an immersive digital experience. This is achieved with a minimalist cabin and a futuristic carbon-fibre steering wheel, designed in collaboration with expert Gran Turismo players. The cabin screen works as a rear-view mirror and displays information crucial to the driver.
