Slight tweaks for the Toyota Yaris

The Japanese brand Toyota announces the arrival of minor updates to the range of the Yaris, its city car. The third generation, which has been on the market since 2011, is currently on sale.
Slight cosmetic and technical tweaks that help it fight with strong arguments in one of the most contested segments of the car market.
The most noticeable changes at first glance relate to the exterior appearance and the equipment, both of which have been improved. As for the bodywork, the biggest novelty lies in the rear lights, which can now incorporate LED technology combined with any engine, whereas previously they were reserved exclusively for Yaris models with hybrid engines. Their background can vary, being black or white depending on the chosen finish.

In addition, new equipment packs are added. The first is the “Look+” pack, available on the Yaris 70. It includes “Selena” alloy wheels and LED-type rear optics, as well as front fog lights. The other equipment pack is called “Cool+“, is available in combination with the Yaris 100 and the Yaris 90D, and its specification is expanded with the addition of “Selena” alloy wheels and LED-type rear optics, as well as front fog lights, automatic air conditioning and a chilled glovebox.
The other notable novelty concerns the 1.4 D4-D diesel engine fitted to the Yaris 90D. Thanks to various technical adjustments, its consumption figures drop from 3.9 l/100 km to 3.8 l/100 km on the combined cycle, while the urban figure goes from 4.8 l/100 km to 4.6 l/100 km and the extra-urban from 3.5 l/100 km to 3.3 l/100 km.
