Smart announces the ForTwo Cityflame

Just as Infiniti did a few days ago, Smart also wants to start 2013 with a limited edition of the Fortwo. It is called Cityflame, is available in coupé and cabriolet bodies, and has a rather eye-catching look. The exterior and interior décor is full of contrasts. It thus seeks to enhance the model’s individual character while keeping up with the latest colour trends.
The bodywork of the Fortwo Cityflame steps away from discretion with the specific Flame Yellow pearl-effect paint. Optionally, it can be ordered in black. But it is the former that gives this edition its name and that stands out against the safety cell, the mirror housings and the three-double-spoke wheels painted in black. The latter are fitted with 175/55 R 15 tyres at the front and 195/50 R 15 at the rear.

The cabin is hard to miss either. The same yellow is present in the leather seats, the stitching on the upholstery and steering wheel, and the cover of the dashboard, among other places. Another difference is the floor mats with the “Cityflame” emblem inserted into them. This edition is based on the Passion trim.
Its standard equipment includes air conditioning with automatic temperature control, a transparent sunroof with deflector, a sound system, electric windows and a gearbox with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. It can be ordered with the 1.0 mhd engine in its 71 and 84 CV variants. Only 2,400 units of the Cityflame will be produced, and Smart is already accepting orders. Its starting price is 14,490 euros, with deliveries from April onwards.
