The Chevrolet Spark receives its latest update

The small Chevrolet Spark receives the latest update, in line with the changes unveiled at the last Paris Motor Show. The new Spark arrives in Spain starting from 8,500 euros for the least equipped version with the 1-litre engine, and the basic version that was sold until now has been dropped.

The changes are cosmetic, as nothing has been modified in the mechanical components. It now features a new front design, with a double grille, and a redesigned front bumper. All of this is better complemented by the updated look of the headlights and front foglamps. At the rear, the only change is that the third LED brake light is now placed on the spoiler instead of the rear window.

Inside, the modifications include new decorative elements and a redesigned centre console, which now offers more options for storing small items.

The engines remain the same as before. That is, only two petrol units: a 1.0-litre engine producing 68 hp and a 1.2-litre engine producing 82 hp.

As for equipment, the new Spark will be offered in the following trim levels: LS, LT, LT+ and LTZ. All models will come with ABS + EBD, front, side and curtain airbags, power steering, sound system pre-wiring, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, folding rear seats, two speakers, and body-coloured bumpers.

The LT trim adds front electric windows, central locking with remote control, air conditioning, a CD MP3 radio with Aux-In and USB connection, 4 speakers, cabin and boot courtesy lights, a smoker’s pack, foglamps and 14-inch alloy wheels.

The LT+ adds rear electric windows, a trip computer, a multifunction steering wheel, electric and heated door mirrors, and roof rails. The LTZ will add a higher-quality sound system with six speakers, height-adjustable seatbelts, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, sporty bumpers, foglamps, rear parking sensor, or 15-inch alloy wheels.

The Spark prices are as follows, including Chevrolet’s January discounts:
