Sorento 2020 new Kia prices: up to €8,300 off!

Kia announces prices for Spain for the new Kia Sorento, initially available in diesel and hybrid versions with discounts of over €8,000.

In September the fourth generation of the Kia Sorento reaches dealerships, a SUV measuring 4.81 metres in length that has been completely updated, with a new platform, design and engines. It goes on sale initially with the turbodiesel and hybrid engine versions, while the plug-in hybrid is expected in early 2021.

Diesel or hybrid at launch

The diesel Kia Sorento uses the new 4-cylinder 2.2 engine with 202 CV of power and 440 Nm of peak torque, always paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The hybrid version produces 230 CV of system power and 350 Nm, thanks to its 1.6-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 180 CV and a 60 CV electric motor. The Kia Sorento 2.2 CRDi has no type of mild-hybrid system, so it carries the C label. The Sorento HEV displays the ECO label that applies to hybrid cars.

Discounts on the new Kia Sorento

As for price, it is important to consider the discounts. Kia offers both Sorento versions, the CRDi and the HEV, combined with the Drive, Emotion and Emotion Luxury pack trims in 4×2 versions, and with the two top trims in all-wheel-drive variants 4×4, always with 7 seats.

Except for the entry versions with each engine, all of them have a discount excluding taxes of €3,600, to which an additional €1,500 is added for financing the purchase, bringing the total discount to €6,413, taxes included.

In the case of the Drive 4×2 trim, the promotional discount rises to €4,600, and the discount for financing the purchase reaches €2,000, which brings the total discount, taxes included, to €8,300.
