Spain and Great Britain are the only countries in Europe where the vehicle market has recovered

According to the figures available on the behaviour of the vehicle sales market in Europe, Spain and Great Britain are the only two countries where a recovery has taken place. The rest of the European countries not only have not improved, but are heading downwards with figures worse than last year’s.
As we have already mentioned at the time, Spain grew by 34.4% in October with 60,301 registrations, thanks to the entry into force of the PIVE Plan, the PIMA Aire Plan and the significant discounts that some brands have added on their own.
Markets that were previously the strongest, such as Germany, are now also heading downwards. And although the figures in Spain help considerably to maintain an average that has not fallen too much, taking Europe as a whole, they still have a cumulative drop of 3.1%, with 10,006,807 units. Other markets such as France and Italy have also failed to reverse the trend towards negative figures they have been experiencing for years.
It is a good moment for the Spanish market, as long as government aid is maintained. However, it is still necessary to reactivate credit even further and make it more accessible to the average person who wants to buy a car, with financing that does not cost an arm and a leg.
