The Need for Speed movie already has a trailer

If you’re one of those who eagerly awaits a new film in the Fast & Furious saga and believes any other movie about cars is absolutely unmissable, you’ll surely be taken with the trailer Dreamworks has prepared for its upcoming release, Need for Speed.

Based on the video game that has so many fans around the world, Need for Speed will showcase a very wide variety of muscle cars and supercars. According to the trailer, we’ll see in action a McLaren P1, Koenigsegg Agera, a Saleen S7, the GTA Spano, a Shelby Mustang, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento and even a Bugatti Veyron. There will also be Ferraris, absent from the game’s latest installments.

The story is set in the world of street racing, but at the highest level. Apparently our protagonist has just gotten out of prison and is back at it, taking part in a race that is as exclusive as it is dangerous, with no shortage of action: crashes, cars flying (quite literally) and impossible stunts, the kind only Hollywood can pull off so well.

The cars used in the film are almost entirely replicas (except for the Shelby Mustang), but they look convincing enough, apparently. It may not be a film that sticks one hundred percent to reality, but the trailer promises a good stretch of entertainment and perhaps the start of a new saga to keep car lovers happy.
