Spectacular British campaign against texting while driving

In Gwent (Wales), a campaign has been launched to warn of the danger of sending messages on mobile phones while driving, a campaign that will be shared in schools. To do so, they have recorded a video with very harsh images which, although fictitious, reproduce with considerable realism an accident caused by paying attention to the mobile phone instead of the driving.

The use of mobile phones while driving is prohibited, and there have been many campaigns carried out to control the use of this device, but it is not easy to see when someone is sending a text message. And this is something very common at traffic lights and on short journeys, creating a significant risk for oneself and for other drivers.

I have also noticed that the number of people driving with a mobile phone at their ear has recently increased, especially on city journeys. It is worth stopping to send a text or make a call, but never at the wheel, since in fact even using hands-free distracts us from driving. Also remember that using a mobile phone is penalised with the loss of three points from your driving licence.
